Dr. Isabella Morton is a Los Angeles based, UCLA-trained, double board certified general and addiction psychiatrist. She has extensive experience treating anxiety, trauma disorders, mood disorders, schizophrenia spectrum disorders, and substance use disorders. 

Bio

Dr. Morton graduated with a degree in International Relations from Brown University. She attended medical school at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai and earned her Masters in Public Health from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. She completed her internship at the University of Maryland/Sheppard Pratt. She completed her psychiatry residency at the UCLA Neuropsychiatric Institute, where she was the chief resident of community and global psychiatry, and her addiction fellowship at UC San Francisco.  In addition to her private practice, she works at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center where she also supervises residents and fellows.

In addition to her outpatient work, she has worked in various clinical settings including residential treatment programs for patients with borderline personality disorder and trauma disorders, the San Francisco County jail, and a reintegration program for formerly incarcerated individuals. She has been involved in community organizing to improve access to mental health care in LA County. 

She believes deeply in the importance of building a trusting and nonjudgemental relationship with her patients to empower them to achieve their personal goals.

Where is your practice?

I am licensed to practice medicine in California.

Do you accept medical insurance?

I am currently out-of-network with all insurance companies; however, a superbill can be provided and submitted to insurance for reimbursement.

Do you see patients in-person or via telehealth?

At this time, I am available to see patients via telehealth.

What is your cancellation policy?

Appointments can be cancelled or rescheduled at least one full business day (24 hours) before the start of the appointment. Any changes or cancellations within one business day will be billed for the full amount of the session.
